At our studio, we believe finding a purpose and helping others will allow you to discover true happiness. You are encouraged to move outside of your comfort zone to make personal growth and improve your practice, knowledge of yoga, and ultimately your life.

That’s why we’ve created the Original Hot Yoga HB Teacher Training. Now is the time to transform your life and guide others find their strength through Original Hot Yoga. This Teacher Training will be a journey to discover your power, refine your yoga practice, and ultimately start you on your path to teaching Original Hot Yoga.

Program Dates and schedule:
September 23-November 6, 2024 Start with a one week intensive, followed by part-time posture clinics and lectures with 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day of lectures and clinics, and end with a final week intensive.
Our rigorous schedule will prepare you for a teaching internship focused on Original 26 & 2 Method Hot Yoga as soon as you graduate from the program.

Certification: After successful completion of the program, you will be eligible to earn your teaching certificate with the Original Hot Yoga Association and be prepared to teach in affiliated studios world-wide.

Training Curriculum and Training Topics

Yoga Techniques & Yoga Practice:

Learn to guide others through the complete execution of the traditional Hot Yoga Sequence, 26 postures & 2 breathing exercises.

Methodology, Posture Lab, & Teaching Skills:

Learning topics include understanding and interpreting posture mechanics and dialogue, connecting with diverse student populations, commanding language, and receiving feedback.

Yoga Anatomy:

Anatomy topics cover basic principles of the body as they relate to performing asana.

Yoga Lifestyle, Ethics, & Philosophy:

Learn the history of yoga and the ethical responsibilities of a yoga teacher including the Ghosh lineage and major yoga schools.

Professional Development and Practicum:

Discover the important traits of a professional yoga instructor and apply understanding of dialogue and posture delivery in a real-world setting.
